How does the free trial work?
Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial that includes full Store-level access — automation, QuickBooks sync, reporting, and up to 10 users. You pick a plan and put a card on file when you sign up, but nothing is charged until the trial ends. When it does, your plan starts automatically at the price you picked. Cancel anytime during the trial — one tap in Billing — and you pay nothing.
What does card processing cost?
A flat 2.9% on card payments you collect through Underway — that's Stripe's standard processing rate, charged directly to your connected account. Underway takes no platform fee on top. Cash and check payments are always free.
What happens when I run out of texts?
Buy a top-up pack anytime: 100 texts for $5, 500 for $20, or 2,000 for $50. Credits never expire and roll over month to month.
Can I change plans later?
Yes — upgrade or downgrade anytime from your Billing settings. Your jobs, customers, and photos all stay put.
Is Underway only for billiards businesses?
Underway grew out of billiards service workflows, and it works well for piano tuners, hot tub service shops, and similar in-home service businesses that send crews out.
